Over 3,000 people took part in one of Winchester's biggest ever barbecues during a week of festivities.
As part of Walk Wessex, a marquee was erected on the Cathedral's Outer Close.
Walkers taking part in the event arrived at Winchester via St Cross's historic hospital. They took the opportunity to claim their Wayfarers Dole.
Once at the cathedral they were joined by fellow Christians at the marquee. There was also a banquet at Christ Church yesterday (Thursday).
Other events during the week included a craft fair at the St John's Rooms. Tomorrow (Saturday) there will be a multimedia presentation at the Middle Brook Centre and healing.
