WHEN the Southampton Civic Centre clock strikes three times this afternoon, a whole city will be drawn to events 139 miles away in Cardiff.
If the number of yellow and blue flags and ribbons decorating cars and homes across the region are any judge of support, then Southampton will be a city joined in unison.
This is one of the biggest days in Southampton's history with fans hoping that Gordon Strachan's team can outgun the mighty Arsenal.
More than 25,000 Saints supporters will be filling the Millennium Stadium today, while tens of thousands of fans unable to get a ticket will be following the match on TV and radio.
Southampton take on Arsenal with a whole city behind them. We're proud of the team.
Come on you Saints!
