Team Solent could change their name to "Team Work" after their efforts in the latest Road Runners Ten race.
They put recent poor turnouts behind them along with just about every other runner when they turned out in numbers at the New Forest Runners-organised event at Wilverley Inclosure.
They blew the opposition away with the most dominant performance ever seen in an RR10 competition.
They cruised to victory in the men's race - easily claiming the team win - as they were led home by in-form Angus Maclean to claim the top five places.
Maclean eased away from the field with no apparent effort right from the gun. And Team Solent were almost as dominant in the women's race.
They took three of the top four places and so easily won the team
prize which is scored on the first three women to cross the line.
The only outsider to get a look in was Bev Edwards of Winchester AC who was pushed back into third in the ladies' race on the run into the line by Georgie Parnell of Team Solent.
New Forest Runners keep their place at the head of the men's team section and Winchester & District AC managed to keep Hardley in second place in the women's event.
Team Solent will not be able to repeat their winning performance in the next event on May 28 at Westwood, Netley.
The club are joint organisers - along with Southampton Running Sisters - and therefore are unable to score in the race.
