WHAT did the Saints fan in Russia say when he heard he had a ticket for the FA Cup Final?
Moscow! (Must Go, geddit?)
A Hampshire man is making the trip to Cardiff after he found out at the last minute and managed to secure a ticket to see his beloved Saints in their first FA Cup Final for 27 years.
Tim Murphy, from Chandler's Ford, has forked out £300 for a flight from Moscow, where he has worked for a year and a half as a business developer.
The 29-year-old was due to land at Heathrow this morning where his brother Martin Murphy was meeting him for the trip to Cardiff and back before returning to Moscow tomorrow.
Martin, who wrote one of the unofficial Saints cup anthems Just Like 76, said: "Tim has not stopped celebrating. He cannot believe it.
"He watches Saints in Russia at an ex-pats club. There are a group of about 16 Russian Saints fans who always come in and watch the game with him. They absolutely love Saints."
