Seasoned yachtsman Eddie Warden-Owen from Locks Heath has been selected to take on the role as tactician to His Majesty King Juan Carlos of Spain when he skippers an entry in July's Admiral's Cup race on the Solent.
The recently launched Jason Ker designed 55ft IRC boat, renamed Bribon Telefonica Movistar, will team with the Rodman 42, Telefonica Movistar, to form the second Spanish team angling for the trophy.
The smaller boat will include John Miller from the Volvo 60 Illbruck and Bouwe Bekking as principal helmsman onboard with His Majesty, a keen sailor.
This comes hot on the heels of the announcement that another two-boat British entry is being penned in from the 'Bear' fold of Kit Hobday and Tim Louis.
Also, to celebrate their 40th year in business, Henri Lloyd will act as Official Clothing Suppliers to this year's Admiral's Cup.
