BASINGSTOKE Town defender Ricky Allaway added another award to his season when he became the club's player-of-the-year at the annual dinner and awards evening.
The Basingstoke Gazette Town player-of-the-year collected his new award, which was based on votes by the coaching staff.
Assistant Town manager Pete Peters said: "He is one of the unsung heroes of the team and has improved so much since joining us. He has turned in a string of good performances since January."
Simon Herbert is the new Town Reserves' player-of-the-year and Danny Davis collected the youth team award. The clubman award went to Friends of Basingstoke Town organiser Jim Gould.
