SHAUN UDAL helped himself to two four-wicket hauls as Hampshire drew with hosts Oxford University in a three-day rain-affected game that finished on Sunday.
The home side won the toss and elected to bat, with skipper Joe Sayers leading the scoring with 122 in a total of 281 all-out.
Udal ripped through the tail-end of the innings to return figures of 4-50 from just 10 overs.
Mark Thorburn returned 2-53, while there were single wickets for James Bruce, Dimitri Mascarenhas, Lawrence Prittipaul and James Hamblin.
The highlight of the Hampshire reply was a century from captain Will Kendall, his 114 included 16 fours as the visitors reached 262-4.
Prittipaul was left unbeaten on 69 at the declaration, while Derek Kenway (35) and Hamblin (20) scored most of the other runs.
In the University side's second innings, Australian Ed Cowan top scored with 99 to add to his first inning score of 45.
Once again, Udal was the top Hampshire bowler as he took 4-58, with Bruce taking two and Thorburn one as Oxford declared on 271-7.
Hampshire's second innings was cut short due to rain as they reached 150-4, with opener Kenway (68) top scoring as he shared a century opening stand with Hamblin (34).
The Hampshire Academy side, including Basingstoke's Mitchell Stokes, lost by seven wickets to Calmore Sports on Saturday in the Southern League division 1.
The Academy made 190-9, with Stokes scoring 16. This total was reduced to 101 off 27 overs due to rain and Calmore Sports won, reaching 106-3.
