MORE than £4,500 has been raised at the annual Longparish School May Fayre.
Over 1,000 people attended the traditional fayre which took place at the weekend.
Despite the rain families enjoyed dancing, football, face painting, crockery smashing and horse and pony rides.
Andrea Hulme, friend of PTA members, said: "It was a complete success - we raised more money than we have done in past years."
All the money raised will go towards the mother and toddler group, playschool and the Longparish Primary School.
Part of the money will also go towards a new building project that is beginning next year at the school.
