Zimbabwe enter their final warm-up match before the first Test with England with captain Heath Streak declaring himself fit.
Streak, 29, injured his back bowling in the tied match with Worcestershire, which finished on Monday, and it resulted in him batting with a runner in the final innings.
The former Hampshire overseas star was due to lead the side once again, however, against Sussex at Hove today after coming through a full net session yesterday.
All-rounder Streak provides the experience in a young attack which also includes Mluleki Nkala and Sean Ervine, who are called in to replace Doug Hondo and Travis Friend.
Doug Marillier, rested at New Road, also returns after scoring 175 for his former club Kenilworth in a friendly against Birmingham League side Water Orton on Sunday, with Barney Rogers omitted.
Coach Geoff Marsh said: "Heath Streak is fit and keen to go after missing most of the last game.
"That game at Worcester gave us four days of competitive cricket with some good pressure situations for batsmen and bowlers. Ideally, we are looking for the same against Sussex to complete our Test build-up."
Former Zimbabwe batsman Murray Goodwin is in charge of Sussex, who rest half-a-dozen first-team players after their double-header against Hampshire last week.
Captain Chris Adams, his deputy James Kirtley, Pakistani leg-spinner Mushtaq Ahmed and all-rounder Robin Martin-Jenkins all step down.
Australian-raised Goodwin played 19 times at Test level for the country of his birth after gaining citizenship at the age of 24, scoring three centuries and eight fifties before retiring in 2000.
