ANTTI NIEMI and Paul Jones have been competing for the Saints goalkeeper's jersey all season.
Welshman Jones started out in pole position but was dropped following a mistake which gifted West Brom the points at the Hawthorns way back in September.
Yet injuries to Niemi have given Jones further chances and he performed heroics against Newcastle at St Mary's and again last Sunday at Manchester City.
Niemi is expected to be fit from a knee injury for Saturday's clash with Arsenal and manager Gordon Strachan has said that deciding between the two is an extremely tough call.
But the Saints boss admits he has made up his mind on his preferred choice if both are fit. Here, we profile the two men fighting for one position.
