Landmark Estates has appointed Goadsby & Harding's building consultancy department to oversee its newest redevelopment project in the heart of Southampton.
The company has acquired three striking Georgian listed buildings in Portland Terrace, pictured above, formerly used by Hammersons during the development of WestQuay.
Two of the properties are being retained by Hammersons as offices but the further three will now be redeveloped by Landmark Estates into 15 two and three bedroom luxury apartments.
Due to the sensitive nature of this historic building, Landmark Estates has produced a scheme which reflects the properties' original high standard of quality and design while enhancing the surrounding area.
Ian Etheridge, manager of Goadsby & Harding's building and consultancy department, said: "We have overseen a number of projects on behalf of Landmark Estates and are delighted to be involved with a scheme of such historical importance.
"Our role as planning supervisor and employers representative is to ensure that we keep Landmark Estates fully updated as to whether or not their objectives were being met."
