BLUEBELLS and clematis were out in full bloom to mark the opening of Romsey Hospital's pretty new garden for patients and visitors.
Lady Romsey, president of the hospital's League of Friends, did the official honours and cut the red ribbon to declare the garden officially open.
The wheelchair-friendly garden runs around the side of the hospital in Winchester Road and contains several benches donated by local people. Gordon Couling, a gold medal winner at the Chelsea and Hampton Court flower shows, designed the garden.
Guests included the Mayor of Romsey, Mike Richardson and Sandra Gidley MP.
