A LONG-running row that has pitted the world's most exclusive yacht club against Isle of Wight Council planning chiefs has finally come to an end.
The Royal Yacht Squadron has now replaced the last of the synthetic windows it installed without necessary permission from planners.
Conservation officers felt the plastic windows were not appropriate for parts of the squadron, a Grade II listed building.
Since 1991, officers have been negotiating a replacement programme.
