HAMPSHIRE-based marine equipment manufacturer Tacktick has found export success in worldwide manufacturing thanks to Trade Partners UK - the government organisation that provides support services to UK companies trading overseas.
The Emsworth-based company employs eight people and manufactures solar-powered marine equipment such as electronic compasses and depth-measuring instruments.
Trade Partners UK helped Tacktick with its export success through a number of support for exhibitions and seminars abroad (SESA) grants.
They enabled Tacktick to exhibit at a number of international boat shows including the Paris Boat Show in December 2002, the Dusseldorf Boat Show in January 2003 and more recently the Oslo Boat Show. There are also plans to attend shows in Norway and Australia.
