THE FUTURE crew of a mixed ability boat trip enjoyed an ice-breaking tour around the ship they will sail from London to Southampton.
The Southampton Sailing Adventure will begin on May 12 when up to ten physically disabled people will help crew the Lord Nelson tall ship down the Thames and around the south coast.
Joining them on the trip will be staff from Southampton Airport, Thornhill New Deal for Communities and the Shirley Regeneration Board.
Each of the three groups has paid for four staff members and four disabled people to enjoy the Jubilee Sailing Trust adventure of a lifetime.
Lauren Nixon of JST said: "It went very well. They're all really excited."
