SOUTHAMPTON'S latest superliner, the 77,499-ton Oceana is due to arrive in the city's docks for the first time tomorrow.
With her distinctive curved funnel, Oceana will become a familiar and regular sight in the port and is one of two additional vessels joining the P&O Cruises' Southampton-based fleet.
Oceana's identical twin, Adonia, is set to sail up Southampton Water for the first time later this month on Tuesday, May 20.
The following day both ships, already dubbed Southampton's White Sisters, will be the centrepieces for a spectacular Royal naming ceremony in the docks, the first time such an event has ever taken place in the UK.
The Princess Royal will name Oceana while her daughter, Zara Phillips is to christen Adonia.
Oceana is expected to be alongside the city's Western Docks by 6am before leaving again late afternoon for an inaugural 14-night cruise.
