THE Duke of York was today visiting the world's biggest single-masted yacht at Woolston, Southampton.
His Royal Highness was taking a look at the 75-metre Mirabella V, being worked on at the Vosper Thornycroft Group's shipbuilding yard.
He also dropped in at the Portchester yard near Fareham where the 90-metre mast was being built.
The yacht, due to be launched in August, will house 12 passengers in luxury cabins. There will be leisure facilities on board and top quality cuisine. It will also carry 14 crew.
The Duke of York was visiting VT as part of his role as the UK's special representative for investment and trade.
