YEAR five pupils at Anton Junior School took a step back in time to experience a Victorian day.
The children have been studying Vic-torian Andover as one of their topics and enjoyed a Vic-torian school morning and themed lunch.
Teacher Ruth Woodford said: "We practised Victorian handwriting, old- fashioned arithmetic and pupils experienced what it would be like to be in a Victorian classroom."
Staff and pupils dressed up in appropriate attire and used their experiences from an earlier visit to Milestones Mus-eum in Basingstoke and work on And-over to ensure the day was a success.
