King Edward VI pupil Emma Wicks won four gold medals in the intermediate age group at the Hampshire Schools Championships.
Her golden tally started with victory in the 400m freestyle in a time of 4min 25.90 - ten seconds ahead of her nearest rival.
This was followed by a 28.15 pb in the 50m freestyle. Wicks also won the 200 IM in 2:27.38 and the 100m butterfly in 1:05.71.
Swimmers representing 89 schools and colleges took part in the event ,which was hosted at The Quays.
Bassett-based Wicks is now a member of the Portsmouth Northsea Swimming Club and is coached by Chris Nesbit, the GB ladies' coach.
As part of the premier squad, she trains alongside the likes of Katy Sexton, who broke the Commonwealth record in the 100m and 200m backstoke at the recent British Championships.
