Bye bye Baddesley. Fair Oak put their survival beyond the statistician's slide-rule with a hard fought 0-0 draw at Sporting BTC.

The Oak came closest to winning when Sporting keeper Martin Coe saved a spot kick and then brilliantly saved the follow-up.

The result puts North Baddesley down to Senior 1 along with Old Tauntonian's.

League Cup finalists AFC Target finished their League matches the same way they started, by defeating Brendon.

They warmed up for the May Bank Holiday meeting with Mottisfont by hitting the outgoing champions for six with six different marksmen. Jamie and Simon Hoare, Pete Hurst, Rich Saunders, Darren Walker and Dave Butler all on target in a 6-2 win.

Hampshire League applicants Botley Village and Durley appropriately met on the last day, probably for the last time as Drew Smith Homes teams. The match ended all square at two each with Chris Skilton and Adam Dade scoring for Durley.

Up from Senior 1 to the Premier come Lyndhurst STJ's and Blackfield & Langley Res with AFC Arrow and Priory Rovers sweating on what happens higher up.

Lyndhurst won the division with a narrow 3-2 win at Priory Rovers with a deflection from a Nick Cremin header deciding the issue with less than ten minutes left.

Runners-up Blackfield did their best in defeating Braishfield 4-0 with Chris Coultas on a pair, Lee Hayes and Phil Swainston enforcing the score but they had to settle for second.

Morning leaders AFC Arrow went down 2-1 in a derby at Otterbourne with Ray Tilley and Phil Sneides their heroes so Arrow finished third.
