Pompey boss Harry Redknapp approaches this Sunday's clash against Rotherham at Fratton Park (kick-off 6.30pm) dreaming of a scenario in which the Blues could take the First Division title with a win.

Redknapp, pictured below, summed it up: "The ideal situation would be for Leicester to drop points in their Sunday lunchtime game against Norwich, so before we play we know we can win the championship if we beat Rotherham. It would be lovely to win the title at home on Sunday, but perhaps that's being too greedy!

"It will be a tough game against Rotherham. Their manager Ronnie Moore has done a fantastic job with them, and you certainly don't get any easy games against Rotherham. They beat Ipswich last weekend, and drew with Leicester the previous week, so we know we will have to be at our best. Our performance against Reading last Monday was top class, and we need a repeat of that."

Even if Leicester beat Norwich on Sunday, a Pompey win over the Millers will leave them needing just a point at Bradford in next Sunday's finale to take the title.

The Blues are likely to be unchanged with Vincent Pericard, their two-goal star against Reading, leading the attack again, and winger Kevin Harper filling in at left wing-back in Matthew Taylor's absence.

Mid-table Rotherham show a respectable away record with seven wins, with the likes of Ipswich, Watford and Preston among their latest scalps.

The Millers will be missing midfielder John Mullin, who starts a three-match suspension, and 13-goal striker Darren Byfield, who has been called up by Jamaica to play against South Africa. But his strike partner Alan Lee (14 goals) has been released by Republic of Ireland manager Brian Kerr to play at Pompey.
