GRAPHICS Workshop, one of Southampton's fastest growing design and marketing companies, has won a competitive three-way pitch to create the corporate identity and marketing material for the city's Oceanography Centre.
The company has been asked to create a dynamic and exciting identity that emphasises the Oceanography Centre's position as a world-leading research organisation.
One of the main challenges of the project is to ensure that the four core areas that make up the centre are properly catered for, so that its worldwide audience understands the huge diversity of information and resources available.
The project is due for delivery this summer, with the annual report and visitor guide the first elements of the new identity to be rolled out.
Further marketing and press materials will adopt the new identity in due course. Saffron Grover, Graphics Workshop business development manager, said: "We are thrilled to have been selected to work on this prestigious project.
"The Oceanography Centre is a fantastic resource and we cannot wait to help build its profile worldwide."
