A 23-YEAR-OLD woman was killed on the night of Easter Sunday after her car was in a head on collision with another vehicle on the Isle of Wight.
Laura Fisher-Lathwell, of Ryde, was driving a green Vauxhall Tigra on the B3401 Calbourne Road near the New Barn Farm, Yarmouth.
She was travelling towards Freshwater when her car hit a white Citroen ZX travelling towards Newport.
Miss Fisher-Lathwell was taken to St Mary's Hospital but died from her injuries.
Two men from the Citroen were also taken to the hospital and were detained for treatment. Police believe there may have been other people in the vehicle who could also have been injured.
Police have appealed for anyone who may have witnessed the accident or who may have been in the Citroen car to help them in their investigation. They can call 0845 045 4545.
