Both Blackfield & Langley and Whitchurch United head into their final games of the season on Saturday knowing that one of them will be relegated back to County football at the end of the day.
At least Blackfield have their destiny in their own hands but are still kicking themselves for missing a whole host of chances in their goalless draw with Cowes at Gang Warily.
"It's so frustrating," sighed Blackfield boss Tony Feeney. "Had we taken just one of our chances today it would have been all over now.
"But we remain optimistic, we are three matches unbeaten and two points clear of Whitchurch with one game to go, so we must go to Alton Town on Saturday and give it our all - it's still in our hands," added Feeney.
Whitchurch, meanwhile, were losing 3-1 at home to Andover but they are still in with a shout of retaining their JWL status. Although two points adrift of the Watersiders, a victory for Whitchurch at Christchurch on Saturday would see them stay up if Blackfield fail to collect maximum points at Alton.
Justin Bennett did the damage for Andover, his hat-trick hoisting his season's tally to 48 goals with Marcus Stapleton replying for the home side.
Whitchurch chairman Tony Chivers said: "We played well today and the scoreline flatters Andover a bit, but I'm confident we'll get the right result at Christchurch on Saturday."
