TWO Hampshire women are stripping off for a moonlight march around the streets of London in aid of a breast cancer charity.
Winchester City Council worker Hayley Vining and friend Michelle Harris from Fareham will ditch their tops and attempt a 26.2-mile power-walking marathon in just their bras.
Hayley and Michelle have dressed their bras as cheeky puppies for the event and plan to raise lots of money for the Walk the Walk charity.
The Playtex Moonwalk Marathon, which takes place in May, is the world's only power-walking full marathon which takes place at midnight. This year 15,000 people expected to take part.
A busy training regime is already well under way for the pair who say they are looking forward to the event.
Michelle, 20, of Beaumont Rise, whose grandmother beat cancer several years ago, said: "I have done the Flora Light Challenge before but that was only three miles. This is a lot, lot bigger but I am really looking forward to it."
Hayley, 21, of Bay Tree Yard, Alresford, said: "It is a great way to raise awareness and pup-licity for the charity!
"But, behind all the fun, we are still thinking of the serious effect breast cancer has on people's lives and the sorrow that it can cause.
"I have been doing a bit of walking around Alresford to get my puppies and me into shape ready for the walk.
"If you can, then do please sponsor us. We are hoping to raise lots of pounds for our puppies."
The girls have set up pictures and biographies of the team at www.walkthepuppies.com, where visitors can make donations and sign a guest book.
