Q: Who was the last man to take the wicket of Wasim Akram in county cricket?
A: Radio Solent reporter Kevan James.
Former Hampshire all-rounder Kevan James will be commentating on Wasim's return to the county scene at New Road today - but his only memories are of facing the Pakistani.
James had Wasim caught by Robin Smith for 39 at Old Trafford in September 1998, and also dismissed Crawley in the same game - but only after he had compiled his double ton.
James, pictured right, said: "It didn't happen very often but I have to say I don't remember getting Wasim out.
"Smith would probably have been at mid on or mid off when he took the catch.
"We needed two bonus points to finish in the top six that year and once we got them I did the bulk of the bowling with Shaun Udal.
"I eventually bowled John Crawley but I do remember being bowled by one of Wasim's inswinging yorkers in that game - facing him was never a nice experience."
