SOARING enthusiasm for four-wheel drive vehicles has meant that this year's 4x4 at Beaulieu will be bigger and better than ever.
The show was launched by the National Motor Museum only two years ago, but the attendance last year was double that of the initial event and a further increase is expected this year.
The event on July 12 and 13 will also have bigger and better trade stands with goods ranging from parts and accessories to clothing and gadgets, all related to four-wheel drive vehicles and off-roading.
A variety of rural attractions is also included in the programme with archery, gundog, ferret and falconry displays and the popular Rebel Replica mini off-road vehicles for children, with more set to be brought in.
There will also be a chance to drive on a real off-road course, while for those who just want to browse or buy, there will be a country market marquee featuring local food and drink producers and arts and crafts including pottery and woodcarving.
