The lord of Discworld is visiting Winchester.
Terry Pratchett, who created the best-selling series of books about a fantastic world held up by four elephants on the back of a turtle, will be talking about his latest novel for children, The Wee Free Men.
Admission is free but by ticket only, available from Hampshire Children's and Schools Library Service on 01962-826660, or by e-mailing libsexc@hants.gov.uk
The children's librarians, who are not orang-utans, are dressing up as their favourite characters and they hope as many fans as possible will join them in costume to meet Mr Pratchett at Winchester Guildhall on Thursday, May 15th, at 6.30pm.
