A HAMPSHIRE supermarket fishmonger found himself moving in the same circles as Michael Barrymore and Boy George.
Chris Mathieson is the latest in a line of famous - and not so famous - faces prepared to have their hair cut, nails manicured and backs massaged on live television.
The 20-year-old who works at Asda, Fareham, enjoyed his 15 minutes of fame on Channel Four's reality show The Salon.
"It started off as a joke because my girlfriend kept trying to get on to the programme so I thought I would give it a go," he said.
"I logged on to the website and put down a manicure as my third choice. Next day I had an appointment."
Chris says no one has recognised him from the show at the fish counter but he's hoping his perfect nails will eventually win him some attention.
So far, only his girlfriend Natasha Lloyd, 24 has complimented him on his manly manicure.
