Home James Netball Club scored a major success with their annual tournament.
They picked a glorious, sunny day to stage the second part of the two-day event.
Youngsters from all over the country who took part produced a high standard.
And, to cap it all for the organising club, their team won the under-16 age group.
The first part of the tournament was held a few weeks ago for under-11s, 12s and 13s, 72 teams taking part.
The second part, featuring under-14s, 15s and 16s, involved slightly fewer teams, due to a calendar clash.
Nevertheless, 36 teams made the journey and there was plenty of local interest, Swaythling, Weston Park and Home James teams all competing.
It was great to see so many young girls playing the game of netball and having enjoyment at the same time.
Tournament organiser and Home James chairwoman Chris Grainger, sais: "It is a great day, great weather, and I am really pleased how the day has gone.
"Thanks go to all the teams, coaches, umpires, helpers and supporters. Without them this would not have been possible"
Age group winners:
Under-14: Dominos (West Sussex).
Under-15: Weston Park (Southampton).
Under-16: Home James (Southampton).
