UP, UP and away went the celebrations to mark the 75th anniversary of Southampton's 1st Bitterne Park Brownies and Guides.
A service was held at the Church of the Ascension followed by the launch of 75 blue and yellow balloons.
The celebrations continued with a party at the church hall which was also attended by former members whose connections go back before the Second World War.
The 1 st Bitterne Park Brownies and Guides are one of the oldest packs and units in the city. During the special anniversary celebrations Brownies and Guides wore uniforms representing 75 years of Guiding.
"It was a super day," said Girl Guider Beryl Cross.
There was also a chance for past and present members to swap memories of 75 years of Guiding at Bitterne Park.
