Portsmouth have another chance of securing promotion to the Premiership against Burnley at Fratton Park tonight.
Manager Harry Redknapp has urged his players to make up for their weekend disappointment.
Second-in-the-table Pompey could have returned to the top flight on Saturday against strugglers Sheffield Wednesday but threw away a 1-0 lead to lose 2-1.
"We have not done too much wrong over this season and it's not time to press the panic button," said Redknapp.
"We just have to try and put the context of the situation out of our minds and concentrate on winning the game.
"We simply have to finish the job we have been instrumental in manufacturing from day one."
