YOUNG thespians had a chance to tread the boards when the annual drama festival was opened in Fareham by mayor of the borough Pam Bryant.
The six-day event gives budding young actors and more mature performers the chance to show off their skills.
As always, classes range from mime and monologue to Shakespearean recitals and Bible readings.
More than 40 cups and shields are up for grabs by star performers who can
also get certificates for merit performances and upwards.
This year's judge will be Philip Thrupp.
