The Winchester Embroiderers' Guild celebrates its 40th birthday this year.
To mark the anniversary, they are holding an exhibition at St Swithun's School from 10am to 5pm tomorrow (Saturday).
On display will be past and present works and there will be a gift of a strawberry pincushion for each visitor.
Two professional embroiders have been invited to give talks on their work and the Mayor, John Steel and Mrs Steel will also be attending.
Important pieces of work by the Guild can be seen in the corridors of the Royal Hampshire County Hospital, in Romsey Road, and the refectory of Winchester Cathedral.
The branch currently meets in Shawford Parish Hall on the second Wednesday of each month in the afternoon and the exhibition will move to the Guildhall on Friday April 25th until Sunday May 11th.
