When the Homelands music festival comes to Winchester, you know it's summer.
On May 24th, thousands of clubbing and dance music fans will descend on the Matterley Bowl, just outside the city. The festival, run by the Mean Fiddler Music Group, will open at 1pm and carry on until 6am next day.
Nine arenas will pump out techno, drum 'n' bass and R&B, while confirmed headline acts include The Streets, The Chemical Brothers, DJs Roger Sanchez, Pete, Tong and John Digweed.
Tickets (£49) from 020 7344 0044, or online at www.meanfiddler.com and www.ticketmaster.co.uk, or from selected Virgin, Tower Records and Waitrose stores.
