SOME 40 players contested the second annual Julian Lance charity tennis tournament at the Hampshire Centrecourt.
The American format produced some close matches with Tony Vanderslott and Dot Bates beating Andy Nicholls and Ginny Lees in the final.
Last year's winners, Barry Aldridge and Sue Lance, presented the Duckling Cup to the winners and prizes to the finalists at a buffet afterwards.
The tournament, held in memory of Julian Lance, a successful local player for more than 25 years, raised £500 for St Michael's Hospice, according to organisers Maureen Hewitson and Bob Wood.
Further donations can be made by telephoning Hewitson on 01256 326173.
