Nearly 50 youngsters are to battle it out for a brand new bike and the title of Isle of Wight Child Cyclist of the Year 2003.
The event at Carisbrooke High School on Saturday will be contested by 48 youngsters who scored the highest marks in cycling proficiency courses run in all Island middle schools.
The youngsters have been invited, along with their families and supporters, to take part in a 12-test challenge testing their riding skills and knowledge of the Highway Code.
