SAINTS' showdown with Watford is a long-awaited second chance to see the side covered in FA Cup glory from one man who gave away his ticket to the 1976 final.
Ken Smith, 57, an electrician from Basingstoke, actually turned down the chance to watch the momentous game against Manchester United.
"I had a ticket but I gave it up because I had a heavy cold. I stayed in and watched it on the telly. I regret that and I am not going to give it away again," he said firmly.
He is going to travel up with the Taulbut family from Bitterne - Sholing Technology College students Hayley, 14, Kirstie, 13, mum Sonia, 44, and dad Mark, 41.
Mark said: "We are all going up with the Travel Club. We paid £40 for the tickets and we know we are sitting behind the goal. We are really excited."
