NOBODY comes with a finer musical pedigree than Paul Nicholas.
The actor best known for his TV role as wideboy Vince from the Eighties sitcom Just Good Friends is a veteran of stage shows with roles in Barnum, Pirates of Penzance and Singin' in the Rain to his name.
In the classic Fiddler on the Roof he plays milkman-cum-philosopher Tevye, who, in strict obedience to family tradition, schemes to marry off his five daughters. Set in a peasant Jewish village in pre-revolutionary Russia, Sholom Aleichem and Joseph Stein's classic musical features some much-loved numbers, including Tradition, Matchmaker Matchmaker, Sunrise Sunset and If I Were A Rich Man - an unlikely top ten hit for Topol (star of the film version) in 1971.
