PUPILS at a Chandler's Ford school dressed up as their favourite storybook characters for a day.
Scores of Harry Potters, Snow Whites, Cinderellas, Peter Pans and Captain Hooks trooped into lessons as part of St Francis School's book week.
During the themed week, professional storyteller Linda Cottrerill entertained the youngsters and mums, dads and grandparents came in to read books to groups of the children.
Teacher Louise Vincent said: "The children really enjoyed it. Each class focused on a book and carried out related work about it."
Throughout the week each class made a display of a storybook character. These are being exhbited in school for a few weeks before being offered to local children's wards, surgeries, libraries and supermarkets.
