The John Pearson Hall was ablaze with colour on Saturday for Alresford and District Horticultural Society's spring show.
The daffodils, in all shades of yellow, through to white, with dashes of orange, dominated the room, although there was much more to see, with many other spring flowers, as well as superb examples of flowering and foliage pot plants, cacti and succulents.
Show manager, Cynthia Daubney and society chairman, Derek Talbot, were delighted with the success of the show, with entries in every class.
Horticultural judge, Peter Head and Tamara Ryan, were delighted with the floral art entries. Evelyn Jane, who had swept the board in the open daffodil classes with some superb exhibits, won the Boize Cup.
Sally Brill won the Palmer Cup for the best overall Floral Art Exhibit, with her vase of spring flowers.
The Supreme Cup for highest number of points in classes other than daffodils was won by Margaret Brooks.
