It is the last call for entries to the Hampshire and Isle of Wight business Environmental Awards.
Backed by Hampshire County Council and the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Business environment Forum, they aim to reward businesses which contribute to sustainable development.
The awards will highlight examples of good practice and encourage other organisations to consider environmental concerns in the everyday running and planning of their businesses.
Entries will be judged on water conservation, energy efficiency, waste minimisation, community involvement and environmental innovation and technology.
Other categories will include site management, wildlife conservation, transport and supply chain management. Businesses are welcome to nominate themselves for more than one category.
Nominations are open to businesses of any size or sector, as well as to schools and individuals.
The closing date for entries is Friday, April 11th and the presentation ceremony will take place on Thursday, June 26th, in the Great Hall, Winchester.
For an application form, ring Hampshire County Council's Economic Development Office on 01962-846381, or e-mail economic.development@hants.gov.uk
