Stoneham's Alan Mew failed to hold on to the form of his first two rounds in the Tobago Plantations Seniors classic but still managed to tie for ninth place yesterday.
Mew, who was returning to his homeland for the competition, followed up rounds of 70 and 69 with a 75 on the final day's play.
Mew, 50, started his career as a pro in Trinidad & Tobago and qualified for his seniors card last autumn after 15 years in the Hampshire team.
