A new NHS dental surgery at Oliver's Battery, Winchester, is proving very popular.
Residents are rushing to register for NHS dental care.
Principal of the practice, Caroline Armitage, said: "We took 400 registrations on our first day and it was just so busy."
Caroline is the only dentist at the practice but she says another is expected soon with possibly two more after that to make a total of four.
The Oliver's Battery Dental Surgery is at 94, Oliver's Battery Road South and the telephone number is 01962-877877.
Winchester MP, Mark Oaten, will be at the surgery's official opening today (Friday).
