A POST-MORTEM examination was due to be carried out today on the body of a young man who was found lying at the foot of Shanklin cliffs on the Isle of Wight over the weekend.
The grim discovery was made just after midday on Saturday by a member of the public who contacted the police.
A Hampshire police spokesman said there were no suspicious circumstances.
Further details will not be released until next of kin have been informed and a formal identification has been made.
