THEY'VE brightened up everyone's Christmas. Those artistic people who cover their homes with extravagant displays of Christmas lights and decorations have surpassed themselves this year. The Daily Echo has scoured Southampton and Hampshire to bring you the best of bunch.
We have narrowed the field down to five contenders and will reveal the overall winner tomorrow. The best is in line for a bottle of festive bubbly. Here, reporter Kieran Fox meets the faces behind the lights.
EVERYONE looks forward to Christmas in the Hudson family. Grandparents Terrence and Sandra Hudson keep an eye out all year round for any Christmas decorations they can add to their house.
The couple from Four Acres, Botley, spend around £200 each year to ensure the house is well illuminated at Christmas for their five grandchildren.
For postman Terence, 58, pride of place is a 10ft inflatable Santa, which sits in front of the garage.
This year's newest addition is an illuminated Santa riding a bicycle, which has pride of place above the front door.
