A King Alfred's College, Winchester, lecturer is celebrating after securing three funding awards.
David Harradine, who teaches in the School of Community and Performing Arts, has been awarded a research and development grant byYorkshire Arts, to spend a period on the North Yorkshire coast writing and running workshops.
He has also won a grant from London Arts to research the relationship between light and improvisation in the theatre-devising process.
Fevered Sleep, the company of which he is co-artistic director, has also been awarded nearly £30,000 by London Arts to present "Feast Your Eyes, a new theatre event" for four to seven-year-olds.
The production will premire at Battersea Arts Centre in London in late 2003, followed by a tour to other London venues.
