Winchester Night Shelter is appealing for Christmas puddings and presents to provide the homeless with a little Boxing Day cheer.
"We have two turkeys but no puddings or presents," said manager, Jonathon Walker, who said suitable presents would include small items such as socks, chocolate, purses and wallets - and they should be unwrapped.
"We are also always looking for blankets, single duvets and pillows," said Mr Walker who added that he would also appreciate some more "helping hands" in the shape of volunteers.
