ANDOVER police have warned busy shoppers not to succumb to temptation over the festive period and park illegally in the High Street.
Community beat officer Sgt Dave Wright says that the High Street has become congested at various times of the day with drivers parking their cars illegally in contravention of the time restrictions.
He warns all drivers that parking their vehicles in this area during the period covered by the time restrictions is an offence.
Sgt Wright points out there are parking facilities in the centre of the High Street.
In addition, there are disabled bays at the top and bottom of the High Street, as well as additional parking nearby.
