The Bahamian registered vessel, built at Chantiers de l'Atlantique shipyard in Saint Nazaire, France, will be 790 feet long, more than 97 feet wide with a draft of 24 feet.
After the naming ceremony in Southampton Docks the ship will host a gala evening to raise money for a charity nominated by The Sound of Music star.
